Our journey to support you
At HeavenlyTails, we understand the profound grief that comes with losing a beloved pet. Our mission is to provide compassionate guidance and support as you navigate this difficult time, helping you to heal and honour the special bond you shared.

The heart behind HeavenlyTails
Losing two beloved pets in the space of three months was absolutely devastating to myself and my family. I had to be strong, but inside, part of me was dying. This is where I studied Pet Bereavement care at diploma level and gained the diploma with a distinction. What an insight and journey this has become. People are genuinely struggling with no guidance on how to grieve for your loss. Society is getting there and understanding, but the general assumption is "it's just a pet." Well, it's not, and we as pet lovers need to grieve and try to rebuild our lives without our pet.

Our personal journey, your understanding
As children, we will always remember that first goldfish we won at the summer fair and going to the pet shop with our parents with a choice of little furry friends. As life progressed and more experience gained, we then learnt how special the bond between person and pet is. Sadly, we also learnt that losing our pets can be devastating on our families' lives. Having lost our forever friends of 18 years and 11 years, we had to find solace and try to slowly understand the process. This is where our expertise and knowledge can help you.

A compassionate approach to healing
At HeavenlyTails, we bring a unique blend of personal experience and professional expertise to pet bereavement counselling. We understand that grieving for a pet is a deeply personal journey, often misunderstood by society. Our approach is rooted in empathy, providing a safe and non-judgmental space for you to express your feelings.
You can expect compassionate listening, practical coping strategies, and guidance through the stages of grief. We help you acknowledge the profound impact of your loss and find ways to honour your pet's memory while slowly beginning to rebuild your life.
